ZiaDerm Research is currently enrolling participants for a midface filler clinical trial in the Miami, Aventura, Broward, and Fort Lauderdale areas. • Be interested in treatment to restore cheek or midface volume
  • Have approximately similar volume loss on both sides of the face

  • Be willing to travel to our locations and complete the required study visits
  • No insurance is needed
  • All study-related care is provided at no cost
  • Participants may qualify for compensation for their time

The study requires participants to have moderate to severe-enough midface volume loss corresponding to Grade 2 or Grade 3 on the study’s Midface Volume Deficit Scale. This will be evaluated by the study team during screening.

What Is Midface Volume Loss?

Midface volume loss refers to a decrease in fullness in the cheeks and surrounding midface area. As people age, changes in facial fat and soft tissue can cause the cheeks to appear flatter, less full, or less defined.

Dermal fillers containing hyaluronic acid are commonly used to restore volume and improve cheek contour. This clinical trial is evaluating TPVM, an investigational hyaluronic acid dermal filler containing mepivacaine, compared with Restylane® Lyft™, an FDA-approved hyaluronic acid filler.

Participants are randomly assigned in a 3:1 ratio to receive either the investigational filler or Restylane Lyft. The treatment is injected into the cheek/midface area using a needle or cannula.

We are seeking adults who have lost noticeable fullness in their cheeks and would like treatment to improve midface volume. If this applies to you, you may qualify for the study.
